And it's hardly surprising that their first instinct would be to fabricate something out of whole cloth and to be duplicitous and misleading - that's just what FOX does. So some producer found these interview segments with LL and Keith and decided that they could stitch it together with some glamour shots of Palin out on the tundra and call it a show. But the idea that they never even spoke with either LL or Keith about this show but instead just started hawking it as something original - well it just shows the lack of journalistic integrity at FOX. Not that their viewers expect it or care much whether anything on that channel is true. But apparently LL and Keith do. Funny that.

Maybe she's not making nice with any of the other hosts or producers, and they're limiting her to guest commentator, and throwing her into places she can do little harm? It's just a thought, but what you said made me wonder...

So the folks at Fox see the value in having her aboard, but also know that she's prone to making some very dumb mistakes. I am sure this program was dreamt up by the braintrust at Fox ("Hey, we have a bunch of interview footage we have the rights to, lets cobble it together and have Sarah present it.") The name of the program is a little poke in the eye to people who bristled at her calling some people "REAL Americans" on the campaign trail. Of course, they couldn't just pull the footage -- they had to make a snippy comment about "fledging" acting careers and him not wanting to be inspirational. Reason #98,435 why Fox News sucks.
