No fun. Check out the new Dynamite Comics version of the Lone Ranger and I think you can find a spine for a story arc. Maybe a wisecracking Tonto-Murphy is asking too much, but some humor/playfulness needs to be added to this formula. I'm looking forward to this...I hope it doesn't get messed up...and I hope it finds a home in Frontierland.

Disney could be an identical replica of Splash Mountain in DCA, or even instead of ToonTown, and just substitute differently dressed animatronics, and I think you'd see enormous lines and satisfied customers. NOW DON'T ATTACK: I haven't said I think this is "right" or "ideal" or "good for us and the cosmos." I just said that I don't think the Guests will reject something formulaic solely because it is formulaic. There are plenty of Attractions that, if the facilities would allow, would double their ridership with ease--and these include such tiny tots as Dumbo and Peter Pan, as well as the biggies like Space and Splash. Just some observations--please don't thrash me.

"I just said that I don't think the Guests will reject something formulaic solely because it is formulaic." I don't agree. I think if everything is the same, it's going to be very boring to have to bother with. Why stand in line for a ride which is almost identical to the last 5 rides you were on, only the color is blue instead of green? I mean, think about it. If the entire place consisted of nothing but these fantasyland dark rides, some more elaborate than the others, it'd be a pretty unfun day. "Just some observations--please don't thrash me." I hope I did not thrash you too severely.
