I was there the 2nd week of Dec. once and it wasn't too crowded. (I prefer the 1st week b/c of the CP, though, obviously.)

Okay the mention of chocolate cake just set off a bad case of the brownie wants. I love brownies. However, not enough to actually get off my rump and make some.

Villians-- Sounds like we have similar backgrounds. I do bookkeeping and also used to do notarization; until I got tired of all the weirdos walking in off the street and decided I was done notarizing. People can get pretty upset when you won't notarize something you know you shouldn't.

Didn't want to bore anyone with the rest of my medical probs so I sending you an email Tink.

Okay, its time to turn up the music. Inputs Aerosmith into stereo system.

I can't find any seven layer dip, chocolate cake and there is no alcohol of any kind in my house. So much for a mudslide or lemon drop. I had a cinnamon pretzel and water instead. Oh well I guess I will watch Grey's Anatomy and go to bed for the night. See you all tomorrow.

We are still going to DL.

That is what I love best about Disneyland-- for our family it is a time to forget everything else and just focus on one another. It truly is a magical place.

I'm so glad that you are getting to go!

Tink you are right - <Not true, not true, Villains, why just today we mentioned the $1 beers they serve on Express Jet!> to be truely pirates she would have had to order the rum and plenty of it!!!

I hope MM and DD are having fun I did check the weather and I hope she packed for it - it's only 66 there today and it's suppose to rain tomorrow.

Tink - how's the weather there now - it's like full on winter here 59 and drizzly...But it will be back to 72 tomorrow (I hope we have at least 4 soccer games this weekend)!!

Thanks MM that's what I will order in DL next weekend and I will toast all of you :) ...Mater looks like you will be there with tink and I in nov. maybe you can meet us for a little drink over at the cove bar!! We are suppose to have a drink and send the pict to MollysMom! So then Tink can say she met Mickey, mater, villains - but not MM...hahaha I no so not nice but what do you expect!!

Okay so back to HER - no news other than the money is suppose to be her next week - hubby will have to be the receiver of it - but I did have to have a sit down with DD and explain (as much as a 9 yr old should know) the situation and tell her she can make her own decision about HD and it should be based on my relationship with HER. DD is very nice and forgiving (she has to be with 3 big brothers) and said she was over all of it and if HD wants to be friends it would be okay, but she can't come to DL with us again (I though DUH) but what a nice girl I have! Today DD was a little nervous because HER works in the class on Friday afternoons - so I told her to just be polite.

Mickey I am so sorry you are still struggling through the medical minefields of life. I hope they can find what it is you need to go on with a normal, happy life - and get your Driver's license back. I can only imagine how frustrating it must all be for you and your family. It's the mother's job to be the strong and nurturing one and when we become ill we make it so much harder on ourselves, trying to do it all. We always seem to take care of ourselves last and like my DH says it doesn't help anyone if we put things off and don't take care of it right away - We will keep you in our prayers.

Villians that sounds fun, drinks at the cove bar. MM is going to be so mad now that I have the opportunity to meet you and Tink with my new trip plans. By the way it does not help me that you have the cake and drinks when you are 3-4 hours away from me.

With 4 kids and a husband in a band if we did the travel sports we would never be home (or have time for DL ;P)

Another year and a half and I will be busy like you since DS4 wants to play tee ball.

I don't envy you having to get up so early on BOTH days of the weekend, villains. I hope you can at least have a mudslide or two to relax. Hopefully, this weekend doesn't feel as bad as last weekend, when you hadn't made contact w/HER yet. That was really weighing on your mind, I'm sure.
Speaking of mudslides, I like to buy the cheapo versions of Bailey's Irish Cream and pour them in the blender with ice cubes. I've never actually had a real mudslide!
I don't know if I've told all of you about my DS that doesn't allow us to have any beverages, he's the one with the bad OCD. So, it's really tricky trying to have anything to drink w/him around. He grabs the cups and pours the contents down the drain (or worse, on the floor!) So, if I want a frozen Bailey's or something while I'm watching 48 hours on Sat. nights, I have to cover it with a blanket. Sometimes, I just lock the door and soak in the tub with one. ;)

Mickeynewe said <<until I got tired of all the weirdos walking in off the street and decided I was done notarizing>>
That's funny b/c 2 weeks ago, a guy called me and wanted me to notarize his dead friend's signature on his car title. lol "Sure, buddy, I'd like to spend a few years behind bars, it sounds peaceful." :)

The weather really cooled off here yesterday. It rained a lot yesterday and today was breezy and chilly. I baked 3 loaves of pumpkin bread. We're down to 1 1/2 already. I hope we at least have some left for breakfast.

I hope MM and DD are having fun! Good luck with all of your weekend activities!!

Gotta luv the fact you can order your alcohol delivered straight to your house :) !! I will be checking in over the weekend - hope everyone has a good weekend.

If you've been up since 4:30 a.m. you deserve a nap! *hands over a pillow and blankie*

I talked my hubby into taking me to do some Christmas shopping today. Got my dad taken care of, picked up a few things for my daughter. She's getting a "big" present this year so the rest of it will be a little limited. I have all my nieces taken care of. Usually I'm done by now and already wrapping--- but I'm getting there. I hate the holiday crowds and shopping at the last minute

Sometimes I am a procrastinator especially when it comes to that.
