Do the mudslides already have the alcohol in them? If so, I can't get them at any grocery store here! lol I live in archaic PA, where you can only get liquor in the state run stores. We always get such a kick out of coming to CA on vaca and being able to buy beer, wine or liquor in the GROCERY stores! We think it's the neatest thing ever! lol
We live right near the DE border and you can get liquor cheaper there and there is no sales tax in the state of DE. So, on the weekends the PA people flock to DE for their booze. (and cigs, too.) You can get a hefty fine if you're caught crossing the state line with these items in your car. (and have your car impounded.) So, our state makes $$$ every which way! The liquor stores in DE actually advertise in our PA newspapers, encouraging people to go there and buy the stuff, too. I often wonder if anyone uses their credit card and gets caught.
Anyway, I'll have to check out that website you posted!

I am so jealous of Mickeynewe and her early Christmas shopping, too, Mater. I usually start on Black Friday. Some years, I get out too late and don't even get anything then! I imagine it must be really nice and relaxing to enjoy the holiday season w/o all of that running around!

So, tomorrow we should have a trip report! Villains, what day do you leave again? Is it Thursday? Is one of the kids going the autistic nephew? You'll have some good stories for us, I'm sure. My guys always do or say something to embarrass me, but it makes for a good story later.
    (Any more emails from HER?)

I'll pop back on this thread in a bit.

First, I gotta do a review of Express Jet since this thread has been pirated. Then, I'll put up my trip report on the "Other Theme Park" section.

Finally, I'll come back here. Not because I think the other stuff is more important, but because if I get going here first, I will NEVER get the other things done.

I missed you guys, and YES, I did think about you while I was gone.

Back in a bit...I have a few more w*%k things to catch up on.

Yes Tink the vodka and rum are already in the mudslides and orange creams - you just add ice!!
Not sure who's going on this trip now - There was a MAJOR accident in a tunnel on Highway 5 and parts are partially reopened today - but the they are still investigating what happened - so far they know it was 31 vehicles 3 deaths 10 critical injurys and 10 minor to no injury - it happened in a truck route part of 5 that goes under the main highway so they are investigating all the damage and there is ALOT of work yet to be done - most will probably start after commute hours, which is when we would be coming through - so SIL has emailed me today asking if I thought we should still go - I said I am going no matter what so I leave on Thursday after school, we'll see if I am going alone with my kids or with a truck full!

I saw the accident on the news and read about it in the paper. DH & I both thought Santa Clarita sounded familiar to us, but we can't remember if we were there at any point on any of our trips, or if we just drove through. I looked it up on one of the web maps and the map stated it was about an hour from Anaheim. Our newspaper mentioned that that part of I5 was used to travel from LA to San Fran. I didn't even think that it would affect Villains trip! Oh no!!!

My mom was just telling me about the accident this morning. Tragic. I always hate the grapevine anyways, but it is hard to imagine that kind of pile up.

I hope your trip goes well Villians. Just remember to tell your SIL slow & steady and I'm sure you'll get there just fine.

Good thing is I will be driving - she moved my excursion once - jumping in it like it was her little suburban - but she soon realized the excursion is much more like a truck than a tall station wagon like her suburban!! Oh yeah I think the desiel engine starting up didn't help her any - it is rather loud - My kid's joke they used to get caught playing video games or watching tv when we were out on weekdays (forbidden on school days) - Now they know when I am coming down the street, unless it's trash day then they just look to see if it's me or the trash man!!! :D

Paint colors - Buzz lightyear colors and princess pinks!!
My friends did a really cool buzz room for there 3 and 6 yr old boys. They did the buzz blue walls with a wide orange band (10in)though the middle they added the buzz green edging (about and inch) on the top and bottom of the orange and in the middle of the orange they added the buzz border. I think since then they have added some rockets and stars to the ceiling.
Wait DD is 7 I would go with the tinkerbell colors using the purple for the accent as she gets older it would still age well for her...

You must have missed the thread from the summer about the cove bar - It explained how I bring in my own drinks - I enjoyed a nice rum and coke at the plaza inn while watching the fireworks on my last trip!! You don't want me to drink tequilla for that to happen I have to be quite drunk already!! A nice vodka and cherry lemonade is quite refreshing though and screamin is a different ride with a drink or two ;p...
okay for the room - I would stick with a blue for the top with some clouds and maybe a goodyear blimp...Then the bottom I would go with the dirt color (no not kidding) and maybe make it look like the dirt track from the movie going around the room. Maybe you could find a nice boarder or something creative to bring the colors together with some car accents - I would say gow with the cars since the nemo is on the trundle. This would be able to grow with him as you could add some real dirt track cars or motorcross bikes as he got older...It all depends on how artistic you are!!

My DH is better so maybe I can put him to work. As far as our meeting byob or not MM wants a picture. I guess that is the least we can do for her. :) Especially since she has to wait until 2009. I don't know how she can wait like that.
