Villians tomorrow is a big day. First we are hoping to hear from HER and MM will have her story about HIM.
MMW all I have to say is Yuck! about the shoes. When I replace my flooring I will make sure shoes come off at the door. I have already placed a no food rule in the bedrooms. Is there anything else I should know about? I have spent almost all of my day at a cheer competition (yawn). DD team did well but did not place. She was disappointed but there is always next year. I am now going to read my sunday paper and relax since I woke up at 6am. Have a good sunday.

She in all caps mentions the ring - which I point out still was the wrong size (which is why it was delayed from the start) and not even close to the two rings I had showed her I liked - when I took it to Kays they said they weren't sure if it was from Kays and the sapphire was fake!!! Hmmmm I think I got a Walmart ring!

I would rather chase dustbunnies all day then know that all that dirt is in my carpet. Ewwww.

Villians, hope your house cleaning went well. I got my wish, and although my house is even messier now, my hubby helped me clean out some of the clutter that had been accumlulating. Now, I just have to work on getting everything cleaned up and the mess put back to order. But, I have all week for that. Not much else to do anymore after work, might as well get that done.

I have to say I'm not surprised your saga continues. I didn't expect much from HER. It is a shame you have to deal with someone like that in your life.

I hope that MM is getting her day in the sun. I must say, I wouldn't want to be the one to get on her bad side!

Just a reminder to all, we all have things in our lives that get to us. Here we come together to share, laugh, and escape from those problems. When things get you down, do your best to focus on the positive in your life-- the blessings. It is so easy to get caught up in the little things, but in the long run, do they really matter? Love those closest to you-- hold on to them, and when you really think about it-- they are what is important, not our disappointments. So, be thankful for your blessings and let the rest be a distant after thought.

    MMW - Happy belated birthday!!!

Tink - You sound like an amazing person. I feel for you. My son has a little OCD, but not nearly the extent you are dealing with. One year he pulled out all the hair on one side of his head.

rt - I having been watching the dallas cowboy cheerleader show. I have seen it in the past, but not this year. One of my friends was a dallas cowboy cheerleader a few years ago. They work their buts off for next to nothing. One of the benefits she got was an option to buy season tickets in a special section so a group of us went in together and got the tickets. DH and I went to the Eagles game and we got to walk all the way to the front and these seats were folded seats in front of the regular stadium seats. It was cool being that close. She decided one year was enough and she was ready to start a family.

OK Mater - I give up... what is a hair party???

Where is MM??? I can't wait to hear how her weekend went.

She laughed at that and told me this weekend what it was. She has this cleaning lady that came into her house and did major cleaning for three days and she wanted to get me that for my birthday. This lady cleans the curtains, the ceiling fans, the baseboards, and even the blinds. She said I had a choice between that or she would get me some clothes from Kohl's. Of course, I took the cleaning lady. I just keep things okay and never have time to deeply clean everything so I am excited. My house is going to be spotless... well, at least for a day before the kids, the DH, and the dogs start getting it messy again. Maybe everyone will see how nice it is and work to keep it that way. A woman can dream....

Man, you guys had lots going on this weekend.

We had DD's concert, I spent too much money shopping, went to a party saturday night, and then had a bunch of people up yesterday. And, yes...I had it out with HIM.

villains...well, as usual, I am speechless over the situation with HER. I think we should put you on Judge Judy.

I'll be back as soon as I can.

They are still not allowed to do anything until their rooms are spotless!!

I spent most of my weekend preparing to and listing items on ebay...Such a long process!! My kids have so much stuff - and alot of it is like new that I gave away the stuff that wasn't sellable (in my opinion) and have started selling the rest - I could probably spend the next two months listing things!! I even found toys in the attic that I forgot I bought and are to young for my kids now (those are going to the toys for tots)...

Where is MM - this is almost friend abuse - making us wait like this!!!

I know how to get her attention -

WOOO HOOO DOLLAR BEER HERE!! :)

Villians way to stick to your guns on the cleaning. It sucks being a mom and hated by your kids sometimes. They chose their weekend.

What's this about Mater putting up her lights? Mater, you and I need to talk. Well, come to think of it, I did get one more gift, another CD on Ebay. So, now I have 2 stocking stuffers for one DS. I had a heck of a time trying to get a m.o. for it today. I couldn't get near the m.o. place because the streets were being paved, so I went to Walmart to return the shelf liner paper I bought that was the wrong size. Here, they sell m.o.s and they were only 46c. I wasted more than 46c worth of gas trying to get to the other place. (Who doesn't take Paypal, anyway? lol) I hope you make out well selling on Ebay, Villains. I never do. I had these stupid coupon/stamp cards I tried to sell for Panera Bread. I have 4 of them and the Panera Bread stores in my area don't let you use them anymore. So, I listed them on Ebay when I saw 2 pages of them for sale. When the auction was almost over, Ebay bumped it off and said I can't sell more than 2 coupons. So, I did a search and sellers have, 4, 6 10, even 20 of them for sale. How come they weren't bumped off, I asked. I get a canned reply. So, I list them again 2 and 2 for sale. A buyer wins both auctions, with a zero by their name. They claim they are sending a m. o. which I never got. I had to put a claim in so I don't get charged for the listings. Someone, apparently doesn't want me to make a lousy 10 bucks on these stupid coupons! I put in the description that they are no longer accepted in my area and check with your local stores before purchasing. I think that is what's bothering the other sellers, they don't want anyone to know that. Do you think I should try again or give up?
Villains your Christmas lights story reminded me of an old Jeff Foxworthy joke. "If your kid's are searching for Easter eggs and they trip over the Christmas lights... you might be a redneck!"
I guess I'll get to that shelf paper now while I wait for MM to check in...

The promise of dollar beers and Rita's altered my feelings on that, however.

    Chapter 1

HIS name is Mark, and he had been a friend of my ex since childhood, and a friend of mine since 1987.

Upon my divorce from my ex, I inherited a handful of his friends. I was happy to "keep" them because we had become close over the years.

DH initially thought it unusual that I had kept some of the ex's friends, but once he met them, he liked them as well. They immediately took a liking to DH, and now they consider him their friend, and they have become very close buddies.

We have 30 acres of property, and one of the things that the guys do is come up hunting every year. It's been going on since I bought the place 14 years ago. DH doesn't hunt, but he doesn't have a problem with the guys still comming out to do so.

When I was with the ex, the guys would stay in the house. I would get up every morning at 3 a.m. to make them coffee and breakfast, and when they got back at night, there would be a huge dinner waiting. I picked up after them, did their laundry while they were there, and was basically the slave.

This was NOT what they expected me to do, but it was what my ex DEMANDED that I do.

After the ex was gone, the guys became self sufficient, and we actually come home to them cooking dinner for us many times.

When DH's parents bought a new RV, they gave us their old one. It was in great condition and all, but we prefer to tent it, not RV it. DH decided to put it on our property and set it up for the guys to use as a hunting cabin. He basically gutted it, put in new insulation, re-did the walls in tongue and groove cedar, put in hardwood floors, re-sided it , put an awning off the front, built a deck around it, and made a bbq/fireplace pit. The guys love the place.

Mark (HIM) started bringing 3 of his friends up with him to go hunting. We have become friends with these guys as well, and we enjoy their company.

Gotta go do some w**k...I'll come back with chapter 2 shortly.
