I expressed my opinion about keeping at least this part of these boards nasty free. WE is already full of name calling, etc-I recommend this site to many people and if this is what this site is sinking to-I will not be passing lp info around. Don't start something that is not there. I am not interested.

If the mods have problems with posters being "nasty" on the boards outside World Events, then they will deal with it. But you don't have any more right to be the 'Attitude Police' in these threads than any other poster. And you certainly don't have any more rights than the mods to tell other posters how to behave. If you have a problem then take it up with the administrators/moderators. Otherwise, quit trying to force your particular brand of LP Etiquette onto everyone else.

That said, perhaps this thread should have been moved to WE a long time ago, given who it was about.

I don't expect women to be that way, I'm certainly not any of those things. I think it's you're name "skinner" reminds me of B.F. Skinner and Principal Skinner from the Simpsons, so I just naturally associate it with a male.

Just look at all of Obama's campaign 'promises' from 4 years ago, and compare that to where we are today. It goes both ways. >>Liberals tend to take offense when conservatives tell the truth about liberals.<< Again, it goes both ways.

There's a difference between having obstacles in the way of achieving your goals and downright lying. No one on Obama's team ever described him as being "like an Etch-a-Sketch". Anyway, the point of the OP was to bring attention to another celebrity who visited DLR, not to bash Mitt Romney.
