I know that it's all hearsay right now, blah blah blah. Just my opinion that all of these children are being abused just by living in that situation. I know not everyone will agree with me.

Too heavy or too gross? Sorry I just don't feel like reading about kinky sex positions.

I don't have a problem with the FLDS church's name. What I have a problem with is the term, "Renegade Mormons." First of all Mormon is the name of a prophet to us, but the way most people use it, it is derogatory. Second when the media uses "renegade" they are purposely associated our church with their church and making it sound like we are both a bunch of hicks. Why can't the media just say FLDS? When this story first broke out I remember seeing a reporter in front of the Salt Lake City temple. What was up with that?! Salt Lake City is in Utah. The story is in Texas.

There is no "perfect christian" out there. Church isn't for the healed, it is for the sick. That goes double for me, I would never want to have to live up to the "perfect" label.

When I was a new member to the church I had some members tell me coke was a sin. I wrote to the prophet at the time and I got a letter back from the Secretary of the First Presidency (think like Chief of Staff) saying cafinated soda was not a sin.

Ex-members are always the harshest critics. I am not saying what they are saying isn't necessarily true, but their side of the story is going to be biased. The ideal would be to have a rational third party check it out. Unfortunately being in law enforcement, I can saw the people executing the law are not always rational. My point is did they really need a tank when they went there?

By ex-members, I mean male teenagers who have been kicked out and females who have had to run away to escape.

I understand that some might be tempted to lie about things but if even half of what has been said for YEARS about these people is true, they're sick.

And on the otherside it looks like Texas CPS is going to finally make some specific charges. It wont be quite the scale they were hoping, but if your guilty you still have to pay.
