Someone brought a flyer to the house today to tell us that after searching the neighborhood for days to find their lost cat, they've hired a Cat Detective with a trained Cat Detection dog. They want permission to search our yard and would appreciate it if we keep our own pets indoors while they search from 10-1 pm.

I'm assuming that you've been involved in showing dogs?

those dogs at shows are treated like royalty. They get the best fooD, the best grooming, the top vets checking them out, the best sleeping arrangements and so much human attention with rubdowns, massages and pampering.
i don't know why you would say that to us.

aside from owners loving their pets they know that there can be good money and prestiGe with ribbons and awards so maltreatment should not ever happen.
