I was describing the camera to the cast member, and he asked if we had put our name or something on the camera to identify it. My wife told him that she had stuck an address lable to the side with her name on it. At this point, the old guy reached beside the printer and said, 'then this must be yours'. My wife was thrilled.

Don't give up hope, a lot of times the cast members look through the seats/rides and collect stuff that was left behind. It will, probably, turn up.

Surely my park closing my picture was turned in. You would have thought I found a pot of gold.

There are lots of good people out there.

One year my daughter lost my grandson about 2 or 3 ish ~ Polo or Ralph Lauren shirt(which I thought was to pricey for a little kid anyway) We checked for a couple days and left our info ~ That shirt never showed up. I was really disappointed someone kept it. I know it was lost in the park. It got really hot and we took it off and left him in a t shirt.

I bet that is more rare than normal.

Sheesh, I thought you would have been more upset losing your grandson than losing his shirt! Although I guess it WAS an expensive shirt. You already mentioned that you never found the shirt, but did you ever find your grandson??...... ;)

Last year we were at the Magic Kingdom until 2 AM for magical hours. The last ride of the night was Big Thunder. My wife's new cell phone flew out of her sweatshirt pocket during the ride. The CMs let us wait outside of the right while they walked the track, but it wasn't found. We called lost and found for a couple of weeks, but never got the phone back.

I DIDN'T LOSE MY GRANDSON (not yelling)

I see how my typing made it look like that. HECK NO ~ I love my grands to pieces. We lost the Shirt ~ NOT him.

Oh my goodness ~~ as I read that I see why you said Sheesh :0))))

There are lots more POLO and other shirts that can and have replaced that thing. NOTHING replaces my grands.

Thank GOD we have never lost one of those. OF course I beleive in the leash (as it is called at that age)

Not gonna argue about that one either.

AND when I am around NO one gets out of my sight ~

    I have 4 grands

    2 teens 17 and 14

1 (lost shirt) is now 9 - no more leash

    and

    Little miss sweetie 2
still waiting for her first visit to the mouse - which she loves already.

Thanks for clearing that up ~ MAYBE others were thinking the same thing...

   ))))))

One of the biggest bags was always Tomorrowland, as all the junk that guests lost on Space Mountain would be collected.

We would sift through the bags (gross), throw out some of the junk (old guide books) and send the rest over to Lost and Found -- which was at that time located in the Ticket and Transportation Center.

Lots of sunglasses, regular glasses, cameras, wallets, umbrellas, merchandise -- one time we found a stash box with a small amount of pot in it. :)

Cathy and Mary were the two ladies who worked Lost & Found, and they really were super nice and diligent about trying to get stuff back to their owners.

I remember working only a couple of shifts there, and while I was skeptical walking in, it was amazing the number of items we would return to their owner -- sometimes just a day or two later.

    Stay positive!

I bought some hot sauce and a necklace in The Mexican Pavillion and assumed thats were I left/lost it. I searched that Pavillion for half and hour (within 10 min of losing it) and have called lost and found everyday. its been over 2 weeks now, and it has not shown up and likely never will.
Heres the kicker: The pictures are of My Parents and children, as we all flew from Toronto for a final trip and make a dream come true and farewell to my Mother, who is the throes of passing from Pancreatic Cancer.(and wanted to take her youngest grandchildren to Disney first) Very sad. I dont even care about the camera, but who ever has it, must plan on keeping it, or they would have turned it in by now. I just want them to download the pics to me, and they can have the 200.00 camera. I continue to search blogs, lost camera sites etc to no avail. The pictures are of extremely blond little girls and a beautiful Grandmother and one of Donald Duck in a sombrero with the girls. There were approx 51 pictures in all. Any help or clues would be greatly appreciated.
