My husband went back later to look for it and talked to a cast member that said a gentleman earlier was asking around if it was anyones camera. We filed a lost item claim that night. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning and were unable to talk to the dig site-pool area about losing it. Sat and Sun went by and it had not been turned into lost and found. I talked with the lost and found coordinator on Monday and she said the gentleman had been back to the area and asked the bartender of the poolside bar if anyone had reported a lost camera. We are certain that is where we lost and are pretty sure someone picked it up. It has all our trip pictures on it and we would love to have those memories back. We don't care about the camera we just want the memory card with the pictures on it returned to us. I believe that disney people are great people because we are all there for one reason. I make memories with our children. How can someone pocket someone else precious memories for a 100.00 camera?? If it was pocketed--where else could it be??? any suggestions??

It had travelers checks, about $100 in cash, my disney passes and credit cards. I didn,t know I lost it until I wanted to buy some ice cream at the stand that had a dinasour above it. Immediately told a cast member. She gave me the lost and found phone number. She said to call after 5AM the next morning.
When I called, they said they had my wallet. I went to get it and found everything in it.
I asked them to give me their names so I could contact Disney.
As a previous writer wrote, Disney didn't have the decency to reply to my letter.
During that same visit, we went to the photo shop in the studios and my son took a picture on the cover of a magazine. It was in a cllear plastic frame. When we got home we found that the frame was broken.
I called the Disney operator, who connected me to the shop. I described the frame and in about 1 week I received a new frame at no charge.

I am willing to offer a good size reward (worth more than the camera itself) for the return of our pictures. he can keep the camera. I beg whoever has it to please return our pictures of our beautiful three girls on there first trip to disneyworld to us. i still would like to think that people that visit disney are not the stealing type?? Just look at the smiling faces of our girls and see how happy they are to be there. They want the memories back too. How can anyone be so heartless as to steal these pictures. Again keep the camera, send us the pictures, no questions asked.
