The first day they lined us up and asked everyone who know how to keep score to step forward. Well, my Dad was into tennis so we watched the Grand Slams on tv so of course I knew how to keep score so I step forward. Then the instructor asked if we knew what a lob was. Not whether we could do it, but if we knew what it was. Again I step forward. The instructor then proceeded to have the 6 of us just go over to the next court and play amongst ourselves. We did that for the whole semester. We had a great time, but I didn't actually learn any tennis.
