She got them off in January when she was 15. The total cost for her braces and teeth removel was $7500. Insurance paid all but about $2500 of it. My son's treatment is $6300. Our part is $2,185. Thank goodness for monthly payments!

The orthodontist said it was actually better for his teeth to have the braces if he took a mouth hit because they would hold his teeth. I confess make sure he wears a mouth guard because a mouth hit will smash the lip into the braces, and the lip will stick to them. It hurts to pull it out!
