There is nothing worse than a situation like this. However, BurtonsSeattleSally is correct. As difficult as it may be, it's time to have Thanksgiving your way. Maybe a stop by later in the day for dessert there would be enough.

There are a select group of my siblings that tend to "run the show" and everyone goes along. I've fought it my whole life so far, and I confess I'm tired of fighting. I did convince my mom that we should make a turkey the day before so we can have leftovers. So, I'll have MY thanksgiving then and just go to play with my nieces and nephews the next day. But I will bring my own car and maybe go see "Sally" later that day unless she has other plans
