    You're kidding! Not everyone says that?!

    It's usually used derrogatorily toward another person, and usually a synonym for "butt" is used. Ex: "Now git your dead butt off that couch and git me some ice cream!"

    And thanks! My mouth feels fine today. My wallet is hurting, though.

    I went though all KINDS of effort and anxiety to get my department store schedule changed for today so that I could work a private party tonight. It finally got settled yesterday. This afternoon the party got cancelled because it's blizzarding here.

    I confess I was hoping to use my earnings from the party to pay for my oral surgery. I confess I'm happy to have an unscheduled evening ahead of me, though.
