It's one thing to please fanbois during a sneak preview or SWW with George Lucas in attendance...time will not be kind to this ride. By the Fall it will be a walk-on again. <That's not just a random black and white photo-- it's one of the guests that is actually there in the Star Speeder. And we ARE in the Star Tours universe at that moment.> It's random from a story perspective. Not a Star Wars character...not in the style of a Star Wars character. Just, "hey, we can do motion capture!" to try to get a cheap pop. Seeing me in a T-shirt or some kid in mouse ears takes me OUT of the Star Wars universe.

The problem is, when it comes to Star Wars and Disney, you're never going to please everybody. (and the ones that aren't pleased are gonna let you know, in no uncertain terms!) >>I bet an interesting drinking game could be made out of Jar Jar...<< Nah, I doubt it. He prob'ly tastes horrible! >>And the other two FamGuy remakes are even better!<< "Blue Harvest" is easily the the best, funniest, Star Wars satire ever made! IM(ever-so)HO Bar none! But "Something Something Something Darkside" can kiss my Something Something Something BACKside! It's absolute garbage. Not one laugh. Not one chuckle. I was bored to tears. "It's A Trap" is marginally better. At least it wasn't boring, it held my interest anyway. No, I take that back - I chuckled ONCE during "Darkside": "Who's in the darkside, anyway?" "Well there's me...the Emperor, of course... and this guy Scott. He's really cool, you'll like him." Thanks, Stewie. How'd you know?

It looks not significantly different from anything you'd see in a feature film. I realize for some that's not saying much, but I do think the criticism based on images and these 2D snippets is a bit harsh.

And I just re watched it. And yes, I still think it's terrible. Oy.

Not as weird as 'Polar Express' or that 'Young Jeff Bridges' character in 'Tron: Legacy' -- but it's just 'off.' The other part I noticed was when they show the shot of the simulator doors opening -- looked very CGI.
