It already has begun. Meeko was hanging out with Woody and Jessie in Frontierland.

I was also at the presentation and heard all of this, but couldn't see diddly squat. The screens seemed to be positioned just right to be hidden behind trees. I went to the presentation last year and was the same distance back, but saw everything.

I dont blame Disney for wanting to hide it after the way the jerk guests reacted throughout the thing. It was pretty sucky. I hope I enjoy you videos better than being pushed in the back, cut in front of, and harrassed for clapping that the CEO showed up, rather than booing.

I had a great time last May 5th. I wish I could have seen Herbie.

Think about it... a family-type "Welcome Home" theme with a slutty performer like her out there? Not a good match at all. Who cares that she sang "Reflections" on the Mulan soundtrack? This ceremony would have been made even more special if they had picked somebody--anybody else!

That's when I realized who was passing us. Mary Poppins herself Julie Andrews. She said "Hi" and headed to her spot behind the castle to wait to be announced. We couldn't have gotten any closer to the one person worth seeing in the whole show. It was worth it not to the see the show for me. Thanks for the video so we could see what we missed.

My daughter's friend is going to be soooo pissed about missing seeing Stich after we stood there for over an hour waiting for the whole thing to begin and then finding that we should have gone on rides instead. A lot of what has been done has been done a bit shoddy in regards to the public. I know I'll get slammed for that but it's just how it is. I still love Disney but...well....I'm just a bit disappointed.

As to the actual presentation, while waiting for the parade I was talking to some other folks who wondered why screens were not put in other lands to help alleviate congestion at the hub(?). Also why weren't screens put in more advantageous spots for viewing? Possible spots were the top of the Plaza Pavillion and the Plaza Inn. Now, THAT would have been awesome.
He's also right about the crowd. After Fantasmic, my daughter's friends needed to go to the bathroom but there were some men outside who looked down at them as if they were inconveniencing them because they were asking them to quit blocking the bathroom. One girl finally yelped, "I have to go PEE!" They moved doubletime then. "- )
Got to warn you that I'll probably post more as more comes back to me....

What do you mean by that, BrigmanMT2? You mean that the rare characters that appeared at the ceremony (and other rarely-seen characters) are now doing meet-and-greets throughout the park, due to the 50th?

Meeko was hanging out with Jessie and Woody. I always see them, I never see him.

I wasn't the only one to notice, I figure a lot of regulars were there that day, and that's why he was drawing such a huge crowd compared to the other two.

I'm sorry but whenever I see her now, I just picture her in that Dirrty video. I'm just glad she didn't come out in her chaps!
