Even the Disneyland Hotel wasn't owned by Disney until 1988. There was a complete row of tacky motels and tourist type infrastructure in place from the Emerald Hotel down to Katella similar to Harbor Blvd when Disney acquired the land to the west of DCA.

But, the thing that I REALLY want to see them relocate and incorporate somewhere in DCA is the California Zephyr train at the front of the park. That is one thing that I will really hate to see go and will really miss if they completely remove it.
