Not completely, but one would think they would do a little survey and find out what works real well in the exhibit being replaced ( and try and retain at least a portion of that experience- even if updated) - and find out what doesn't work well and replace it. Doesn't seem that hard does it ?

This formula could have made Test Track a better ride than it is ( and I do like TT) - by keeping some of the AA type show portion to go with the upgraded ride. Same for JII 1-3 , etc.

Complete change for the sake of change not always the best unless the product you come out with is just so vastly superior - and as a replacement for something-- show me one of those anytime in recent history. not talking about new attractions like EE going up, or Soarin, or even Turtle Talk, jsut replacements/upgrades

    >Pooh playground for 20,000 Leagues
    >Stitch for Alien Encounter
    >JII3 or JII 2 for JII 1
    >Nothing for Wonders of Life
    >A plush mall for the bevy of specialty stores on Main Street
    >current animators tour for real live animators
    > current backstage tour vs backstage tour of 10 years ago

I don't see one here do you? be honest.

The best 'replacement' attraction by far has been Philharmagic

And one wonders why we all cringe at talk of SSE or GMR being updated -- not saying some cahnges might not be nice --but looking at the recent track record, I'll keep what we have

Budgets. Too much cost to keep the cold temperature on at all times. My friends at Guests Relations tell me the ice tunnel was one of the things guests complaint the most as they did not care to walk thru a fridge. Personally I am glad it's gone.

If it was a budgetary reason, that at least makes sense---unlike some exec at Kodak deciding that HE didn't like Journey Into Imagination {which I will continue to grouse about until they replace JIYI with something better}.

We all have those burrs in our saddle -- for me it is the Pooh Playground -- btw would you trade JII for that stupid playground ?

That was an Exit only, but people still entered that way because they didn't know how to read the "EXIT ONLY" sign.
