My point is ,if for whatever reason it seems necessary for kids to climb on things....then the playground should have done into the Toontown area that was designed for young kids-- and not in an area where a much better attraction should have gone.

I do agree that it would have been nice to put a rockin' attraction there, but I suppose we should stop expecting as much from a company that cares more about shareholder value and creating cookie-cutter, repeat attractions than investing in INNOVATIVE new attractions. So... we make the children happy with an inexpensive playground. The kids are happy, the parents of the kids are happy, and the mostly adult, hardcore Disney fans are disappointed. Can't make 'em all happy at once I suppose. Oh, btw.. the ice cream shop across from the playground has THE BEST rootbeer floats around!! I highly recommend them next time you're in the park. Disney deeeelicious! 8)

And to all the parents out there, what did the younger kids do at WDW before 1988 when Mickey's (temporary) B-Day Land opened? I guess for the MK's first 17 years, the place was a wasteland for toddlers.
