I bet in mid-April when most elementary schools (AKA all the little girls who love princesses) are on Spring break it will be much more crowded. I know two families with little girls just counting down the days until their spring break DL trips so they can see the new "princess land"

There was a major media push the days leading up to the opening, though.

It was just a couple quick up-close shots of signs, while the Disney Channel stars talked about it in front of a screaming mob; although the lead-in sounded like it was going to be mostly about PFF, a lot of the focus ended up being on the recent additions to DCA. And since I saw it in the DC area, I would guess that it's a national promo, though it is pretty minor by Disney's standards.
