Again, as is usually standard, they don't want video camera lighting and flash pictures.

While we agree that the visuals of the show are stunning, we have to sadly say that the musical numbers were totally mediocre and not one song is memorable. It was like a mish-mash of songs that had no particular melody to carry away after you'd heard them. Very sad, indeed, considering how beautiful the rest of the show is. Perhaps they can re-write some of the musical numbers, later, and put in some REAL songs somewhere down the line because all those incredible costumes deserve a much better muscical score to back them up.

And the voice of the actor singing it was excellent. Other random comments... Puppets and adaptation of movie scenes to stage were excellent. However, if you don't know the story, it would be quite cofusing because of all the "holes" where scenes were not adapted. I would recommend watching the DVD before seeing this show if you haven't yet. Show should be viewed if possible from the center of the theater. You miss a lot of the visuals if you sit in the front section too close to the stage. I did see it once from the front row and watching the actor's expressions was great, but for those who just see it once they should see it from a little further back. I didn't see it from the back of the theater, however I feel you might lose a little of the appreciation of the puppetry if you are too far back. No merchandise out yet. I am assuming that they won't be sold until official premiere of the show. Have to get the CD for myself.

I did ask the castmember attending the cart if there was going to be a cast recording cd available and she just looked at me weird. And Witches, I'm sorry you did not enjoy the musical numbers. I find the score quite catchy and often have the "Swim Together" song in my head.

Guess the word is getting around.
