I have found some entrees to be pretty good, while others are indeed "meh", in particaulr the more Americanized stuff, such as the "Plato Mexicano" Others have complained in the past that the chips tasted like they came out of a bag. This doesn't surprise me, as in Mexico they don't serve chips and salsa like they do here (at least not at places where Mexicans eat). You more likely to get a basket of bread than "totopos" as tortilla chips are called down there. Also, totopos are thicker and crunchier than the tortilla chips served in Mexican restaurants here in the USA. They are usually served with an order of guacamole. I lived 12 years in Mexico City and the stereotype down there is that Americans don't eat fresh food, that every comes out of a can, a box or a plasrtic bag. Another stereotype is that Americans only like bland food. So maybe that's why they serve Tostitos and why the "Plato Mexicano" stinks.

Plus the service is always so hurried. << Agreed. The food is more like slop to me. Every time I have ever eaten there I regret it. I do give Disney some style points for making feel like I'm really in Mexico. I always end up running to the nearest facility when Montezuma's revenge strikes! I know...TMI.

I think you mean "the nearest heavenly dream-filled commode of wonder." Just think how much extra cash Disney could make if their food intentionally gave people diarrhea and then they charged you $10 to use the facilities. Mr. Iger, this idea's on the house!
