I hope that something so new an untested doesn't create long term maintenance concerns (it seems like a great way to grow mildew, especially in a humid area like central Florida). I'm also a little concerned about how the castle will look. I really can't get a good grasp for how big it actually it, or how close guests will be able to get, but in some of the pictures, it looks a little like something from a miniature golf course. Then in other pictures, it looks really good. It also seems to have some sort of magical color-changing abilities that make it switch between very grey in some picture to very purple in others, depending on the lighting. I can usually get a pretty good grasp of how things will turn out from the pictures, but this is one where I'll really have to see it in person to make an opinion on it. It's also great to see that there's some great streetmosphere on Main Street. I really enjoyed my visit with the mayor a few years ago. It seems like the DLR entertainment crew is generally better than WDW, but there's really nothing at DLR that can compare to the streetmosphere actors on Main Street or Hollywood Blvd. They really add a lot of texture and realism to the area, and would be great to see on the west coast. They had a fun little Main Street Pumpkin Festival show for Halloweentime during it's first year, but I don't think it came back in subsequent years.

Oh yeah, for our Jewish members it is! Very nice to see you pass on over to the site ... They really do believe this is the answer to Potter. I have no idea what they're smoking in their pipes, but it is much stronger than street-grade pixie dust. I've heard some tales of their marketing campaign for NEW Fantasyland ... lots of use of the word NEW ... unfortunately, there isn't much NEW coming to the park. But so long as there are walls and bloggers to cover every square inch and tell the world how MAGICal they are, TDO believes it has the situation in hand.
