Yah, it's fun for a seasonal show to promote the newest film, but I can't believe they've been running it for almost two decades. Have there been any major changes to the show in that time (other than the removal of the preshow about 5 years ago, and rebuilding the theater for Fantasmic! access)? That just seems like an absurdly long time, especially for a show that I would classify as 'average'.

I am one of those repeat B&B viewers. I am happy Disney continues to have Live performance Stageshows and think it is important to continue this. You might not care for it but do not wish it away. I think Dl needs to consider bringing back a stage performance also.

Back in the 90's, it was really a great show, everything was new, all the effects worked, they used DOVES in the end,....Now? So tired. Saw it in December, and I really think it's time for a change. It's stale, and it looks it.

There aren't many WDW experiences worse than sitting in the direct sun at LMA in the middle of summer. Not to mention the show is pretty lame, too (or was the one time I watched it). But Indy really bothers me, because, unless I'm mistaken, it's the exact same as it was 20+ years ago.

Originally Posted By FerretAfros "Not to mention the show is pretty lame, too (or was the one time I watched it)." When I saw it, it was raining. They kept reminding us that they might have to cancel because of unsafe conditions (which we totally understood, since it was pouring a couple times during the show), but they never did. Seeing them do the stunts that they did on the ground that was so wet (our family is into IndyCar racing, where they completely dry out the track before a restart) was really really impressive. Obviously, that also meant that there was no sun to deal with, but we thought it was really well done. I probably wouldn't want to see it more than 2-3 more times, but it was fun. We saw Indy later that day, and they had to stop it after the second scene because of the rain. Still a good show, but not as impressive when weather comes into play.

Disney-MGM used to regularly swap out stage shows. But they decided to keep this one and never get rid of it. That makes it stale. But it's so much cheaper than debutting a new show every year or two. That's OK in Tokyo, but not in Orlando.

And if you can afford to stay at the Poly, then you can afford the bar prices at the Tambu Lounge (not really that bad) to wash down any less than magical experiences. It's funny how when I stop there before visiting MK for a drink or three, that MK seems so much better Now, I do think you are flat out nuts for going in summer (even though I did last year ... and last week sure felt like it too!) ... but I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy yourself.
