It just looked like they were built on a ground foundation. Maybe it was just the angel of the shots in question. Do you have a link to your pictures? I would be interested in seeing them.

We our bus drove by the entrance to the formerTree House Villas even the former road was torn up.... and now dirt. I"m sure there will be a pretty nice new paved road soon, once all the heavy equipment is finished with.
