I think the color not necessarily the tron stuff itself just makes the monorail train seem newer, more high tech, and less 80s.

Also I should note all of the people near us in the loading area seemed very impressed. Heck while we were at Epcot people were stopping in the walkways when it passed over head just to look at it.

I think they did a good job. Of course while I like to color scheme I am a little worried about future advertising because of this.

Now we all know I am a '74 Spirit no matter where I go ... and I am not going to any other sites these days (there was a massive purge/massacre/bloodletting that was very non-MAGICal and I just don't really want to be a part of that).

You must tell me all about it. I haven't had the time to go over there lately.

How could I have messed up so bad as refering to you as WDW76. As the cool people say "My Bad".

As for the Tron speed tunnels on the Peoplemover...I thought that was pretty cool. Very "futuristic" feel to it...at least to my as a little guy.

It got very nasty from what I understand ... I didn't actually witness it as it took place both in a private off-site forum and in the MAGICal You Pay to Chat forum (and I will never pay a penny for something like that).

But lots of ugliness that have taken my desire to contribute there away ... I'm supposed to dine with two MAGICal folks this weekend, so maybe I'll have a better clue then ...

I do have more info, but nothing I would feel comfortable placing online.

Give them my regards. I wish we could get your other dining buddy to post over here.

Drop me an e-mail, and fill me in when you get a chance. I would e-mail you but I know your social calendar is so much more busy than mine.

Sorry you are sick Dave, and I'm very glad you are happy with your socialized medicine. We shall see how the American dream plays out over the next decade.

By the way, if 11% of my existing taxes went to my medical care I would be thrilled. However I pay out of pocket for my medical care, and I am just find with that. However I am looking forward to the day that my every need is paid for by somebody else.

Or add in my Aunt who was an auditor for the IRS. When she was diagnosed with Cardio Myapathy, the insurance paid for her first treatment. But then it became pre existing after some remission and it was all on her. They sold everything and the church ran fund raisers, which embarrassed the family. When she died, her teenage kids were left from being comfortable middle class kids to living in virtual poverty. Sadly, when my cousin was diagnosed with the same disease, she left a suicide note stating she could not do the same thing to her husband and kids (she was a nurse, and her insurance would not cover it due to the hereditary nature). She ran he car off the road aged 30.

My 18 year old brother is currently being tested for the same disease (adding to his scoliosis, and neaurapathy and CMT disabilities). He is angry with the world, but at least none of us have to worry about the bils.

The NHS is far from perfect. Working in it right now, I can tell you. But I find it hard to swallow that so many go untreated (and I have seen it first hand with LPers on our last US trip) because of financial issues.

I really hope this new bill will help get things on track for so many. I wish it went further, and no matter what, people will be upset, but hopefully it is progress.

Yes hopefully it will be progress. I am just extremely leary about a major bill that is impossible for a lay person to understand, and my Senators and Congress person do not have a clue about it's content.

Yes we definetly needed an overhaul, and our system was far from perfect. However, I am of the adage of you do not throw out the baby with the bath water.
Only time will tell if this is a blessing or a curse. I do know this however. You do not implement a system like this at no cost, and that's where the lies began.

Our Government just past a bill that every poll in America showed was unpopular with the citizens of this country.

Like I said, I certainly hope this turns out for the best, because it's a system that I will have to live under for the rest of my life.

I really feel like I missed all the 'good stuff' ... kinda like when networks censor films so as to not upset the puritanical amongst us.

I don't know who was in the wrong, really. It seems like the blame could easily be shared by many. But I expect kids, especially kids who feel they've been dissed (and they may well have been), to act out a bit.

You'd expect better from an older adult, especially one who runs the forum.

I have tried working on him. I'd love to see him here (obviously) as he's not just a friend, but one with a brain and some really good information and perspective. I'm not sure he wants to be Lee No. 2 here! ;-)

My social calendar isn't that exciting this week, so you'll be getting an email ... maybe tonight or tomorrow!
