Yeah, I kept waiting for the paper animation stuff especially, since they went to great pains to explain that, and it did look cool and different from the rest of it. I know we couldn't see many projections in that video, but there didn't seem to be any Alice sequence at all.

But there's some impressive stuff to be seen anyway!

Funny that I've played in various symphonies but still want to read a show program to follow along while watching a symphony play, a ballet troupe dance, or a broadway show perform.

At any rate, it's a great show. And, you can appreciate via video the fantastic heights that the water fountains reach. The water fountains and lighting effects are truly AMAZING!

Also, it's possible that some of the scenes in there are encores and not part of the actual show.

So you're not getting your information from anywhere and just giving your opinion, or what?

While I agree what the video shows is not perfect (what is?), regarding transitions and so-called dead spots, if every transition was mostly in the same style, the whole becomes rather boring. Music sometimes needs abrupt changes, quiet passages or even total silence.

Sort of like trying to criticize a movie in pieces, out of order and more.
I will withhold comment until I see the actual show in person in its entirety when I come out to the west coast this summer.

You're welcome to disagree with me, I guess you'll find out when the show officially opens in the next couple of months.

You're just wanting to lay blame where there is none. No one has picked it apart. The things that are wrong with it at this point -are- what's wrong with it - it's valid criticism at this juncture and intellectually viable to discuss it. It's not attacking nor nitpicking nor anything of the sort.

What do creative people do? Kiss one another's butts and tell each other their work is perfect during the process even if something is obvious not quite right? Well, that certainly explains some parts of WDI..

You've been asked where you have gotten your information from. Is it so difficult to answer?

Please understand that when someone new arrives on the Boards one day with such definitive things to say, it does bring reasonable questions about the source. This video is what it is-- and it seems unreasonable to draw any conclusions based solely on its content.

Can you imagine the following? Oh I'm sorry Mr. Coppola, I think The Godfather stinks because I saw this shot of Marlon Brando with an orange peel in his mouth on a tiny little YouTube monitor.
Or what if people had seen just the sequence of Pirates chasing women in Pirates of the Caribbean? Walt, your entire attraction is condescending and belittles women. People should boycott it!
