I was cleaning up my supplies this weekend and found in one of the "Hot of the Press" books a Mickey paper piecing pattern and instructions. I could scan them, if they are still needed.

I don't like how mine turned out, I wish I could have gotten the shakers finished but I am still working on them. This move just took more out of me than I realized.

I am gearing up for the ride swap early though and *scraplifted* something cool that I am going to work on so I can perfect it now..lol..

That's why I am probably bringing stuff from the DIS swaps I am signed up for, to the party instead of photos...then I don't have to think about layouts.

LOL Hope I am doing the same thing, I am signed up to angel a cruise swap and Ive never even been on one *YET* so I plan to work on those. I have the general idea just need to work on putting it together.

My biggest problem is I can work something in my head and it sounds just amazing, I just haven't figured out how to make it LOOK like I THINK it should. I have no creative genes in my body

But I do have a grand idea for the ride swap..lol.. so Im going to try my hand at paper piecing which is something I have always wanted to try. I will show you on the 3rd..

I would never be able to do stuff like that...all the different paper, and colors. I don't even know how I would even begin to go about putting something like that together.

Me...find a page to wallpaper the background, pick one of two colors to mat photos, place photos...say to myself, "the page looks really empty and boring."

I'm hoping all the swap goodies will give me inspiration!
