And it was because of ME -- one of the co-founders of the Bash! I will forever bear that guilt and shame. I can explain, but I can't excuse. On that fateful day in November, the power went out in my town: I had no internet connection. And my sister gave birth to my beautiful third nephew. And I was, on that day, diagnosed with SARS and given two weeks to live. But NONE of that alleviates my guilt that somehow, somehow... on that day, I failed to send my daily email to the Postmaster General of the United States of America in which I reminded him that these particular Bash mailings deserved precidence over all other holiday-time mail. You can't imagine the suffering I've experienced since learning that my direct negligence caused such horror for both Bashers involved. Not that I think that MY suffering can compare to THEIRS, of course. I'm only asking for understanding here, not forgiveness. If any potential LPWB'07 Bashers want to back out based upon this dark and sad Bash episode coming to light, well... Forget it!!! SIGN UP!!!

You don't neeed to contact your Pal EVERY day! I LOVE how you deeelight in pampering your Bash Pal! But think of it this way... If you are a bit more relaxed about your contacts, it will be harder for your Bash Pal to ID YOU as her/his Seeecret Pal!!!

And as a seasoned LPer, let me give you, the newbie, a valuable bit of advice. Time and time again in years past, what seems to make various assorted pals of all ages, sexes, and holiday persuasions happiest of all is. . . their pal sending stuff to me.
