It is an unreal sight, however we know that this is very real to all of you in Japan. Again, I'm not good with words sometimes in situations like this, but please know you are all in our thoughts an prayers. Stay strong and NEVER give up hope!

How's the situation in Saitama as far as the fallout worries are concerned? I heard mixed stories, and thought of you and hope you guys are okay!

X if you need a place to shower we will try to stay tomorrow but they are only letting people book one day at a time*** Thank you so much for your kind offer, but we are very fortunate in that we have a small amount of water flow and the gas is still working, so we can take adequate baths here (pain in the ass, but it works okay lol). But thank you! Why are you staying at the Oriental? Lack of water in your home? I hope things work out well for you, MN, and everyone else! We'll get back to normal someday soon!

We are leaving for the US on Thursday morning which we had actually booked two months ago though we are going to extend our stay for a while. I think at least 50% of people have left Shin Urayasu, my husband will go to Tokyo but head to the US if things get really bad.

The advice has been to leave as soon as practicably possible. There is no ETA for a return at present - talk of March 21 seems to have dissipated. I'm glad to be home - but my heart goes out to millions of Japanese citizens, residents and tourists that are going through a living hell not knowing what is next.

Hopely it won't be too long before your able to return back to Japan.
