My uncle and aunt are retired and living in Florida. The funeral was to be held back home in Rhode Island. So my uncle drove up to RI arriving last thursday. On friday morning his right leg had swollen up. He was admitted to the hospital friday. Emergency surgery was done Saturday to put a chunt in his leg as a blood clot was lodged in a vein of his leg. He was discharged sunday at 3 pm. He was able to attend my aunts wake for an hour. He was unable to attend the funeral this past monday.
