Each tree has it's own song and when you can hear a tree singing it's song that's the one for you. It may not be the perfect tree, but it's the perfect tree for you. This philosophy has inspired me to write a poem which I'd like to share if I may. It's very rough around the edges, heck it doesn't even rhyme so it can't be that good! Here it is Christmas Trees Sing Somewhere in our hearts We know that Christmas Trees Sing And we all have the knowledge that Christmas Trees Sing From the day we first see one That special moment When we are young And we hear it’s melody in the air In that split second Our senses come alive And we know true wonder We smell the pine We see the twinkling lights And we taste the peppermint candy canes But still it’s the singing That touches Our Hearts Every tree has it’s own song Some sing a grand choral piece With a voice to match any opera singer And others sing A sweet simple melody With a humble reverence Trees are not perfect But they have their own Unique beautiful chorus for us all to hear Just as those of us around the world Who may or may not Be listening to the music of our trees Are not perfect Have songs we sing that Are all different and all Special So at this time if we hear The Special Song That our own Christmas Tree sings I urge us all to listen For the melodies coming from All Mankind And join in with those songs! Harmonize! Form a choir! Open your hearts And open your souls And sing out loud! And be thankful That you’ve always known that Christmas Trees Sing So there you go! What do you think?
