Maybe they sell more cheap sword toys now in the Plaza marketplace then the cool pirate ships in bottles that they sold in House of Treasure? Don't doubt it. But now Adventureland has a much more generic 'Disney' feel to it than the exotic feel it once did. There's no way for me to put a positive spin on it. If you've been in one MK shop now, you've basically been in them all, and it wasn't like that for the first 25 years.

So tell Buddy I said HI! I've just e'd him and talked twice to "his liasons" when they tried to get him out 8 months ago or so. It's okay if we disagree on him as a LOT of people hate him, but I stand by him that he transformed the city of Orlando, particularly Downtown. If only I had the money, I'd love to get something at Tradition Towers. And if I only won the lottery> ya right

The shop has been closed for at least 3-4 years now. The plaza area still sells PoTC themed merchandise, so that is still there and likely what your son enjoys. The shop used to be immediately to your right when you come up the speedramp from the Pirates exit. It is all walled up except for a few doors that say CMs only.

I guess it would be the same thing for me on cape as I notice the things that have disappeared whereas the tourists notice JUST the things that are still here or new things. Thanks LUV.
