Maybe that should be "Let the Dream Memories Come True Begin" for 2011...

MK? Probably when Spectro was NEW...

    WDW in general?

    ToN. LOVED that.

Hopefully the CMs running it, being so embarrased about its decline of quality and their lack of ability to take pride it in any longer should all get together and send a letter to management.

That seems to be the trick.

Chances are though, they won't replace it, just run it less.

And I disagree with it trying to hard... It was grand, inspiring, and organic. It just flowed. Beautifully.

I can't agree. other than the music, the parade was just "meh". Boring and repetitive, IMO.

Having been more DL centric at the time, it was very perplexing to see the adulation.

The Aladdin parade was one of the last daytime parades from WDW that I remember fondly. Someone must've liked the floats because they parked the camels next to the spinner in Adventureland.

Was never a big fan of Mickey-Mania or the 25th parade.

Just for the record, how many years has that long glass castle float been used? I know it goes back to the 80s -- was it debuted for the 15th birthday? Is it still in use at the MK?

Funny, how we are so different on entertainment offerings. Next you're going to tell me that it doesn't get better then when the magic mirror is the height of conflict in a show.

But you do realize that my appreciation for the Castle Float is strictly ironic, right? It's a piece of HISTORY! lolol.

ToN on the other hand to me was an inspiration, and one of the finest things to grace a Disney park. It felt like the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, with an amazing score, and drums that united everything (the earliest musical instrument and one that is linked throughout all cultures as a time keeper, for music and dance, and a form of communications. Using puppets in appropriate styles to those I have seen in South America, Europe and Asia, as well as to some processions found in Africa. It was an inspired piece of genious, and not one stupid rubber head to be found!!!! We must have watched it 15 times on our honeymoon, and even still I get chills when I hear the soundtrack.

    Quoted for obvious truth. :D

It was especially beautiful when ALL 3 sections of the parade route were filled up and the torches and lights went out. So incredibly moving.
