Also with Inspector... doing the first ever Winter Bash. Man that was a lot of hard work, especially since we were trying to figure out what we were doing as we were doing it, but we sure had a good time. Meeting lots of great people, getting lots of great advice and knowing there is always someone willing to listen. Getting to meet FoDD. I miss that guy. Hmmmm... I have lots. Thanks for being so awesome, all you LPers! ~Beth

I was so nervous I wrote down what I was going to type, especially remembering how to spell DALMATIANS because I wanted to say "101 Victorious Dalmatians". Whew ~ I felt so good! This past Winter Bash was just too much fun. I was so afraid of not being able to keep up, but the whole effort was so worth it and the facilitators make it so easy! Such a fun time. Discovering Kennesaw Tom living close by was a treat. And DVC_dad ~ yes, we have been in the same hometown for years and have so many mutual friends! That is just cool. vbdad55 commenting on how much he liked Kennesaw. This is his family's stopping place on their way to WDW. He, KT and I are going to get together for lunch the next time he comes through. Yes, DVC_dad, you can come, too. I really enjoyed the Candy Corn questions last fall from 2oony. I love silly fun. And 2oony is kinda silly. tapdancemom has become a very good friend. That is priceless.

PS: when someone out there gets maple sugar candy in the mail that might be a dead give away.

Getting suckered into babysitting LVBelle & her knee injury when her DH didn't wanna hang out with the axe murderers anymore which turned into her becoming one of my best friends in the world. Speaking of inside jokes - realizing on a trip to SLC that -em is in fact my sister but finding out that one of us got on the wrong bus (I'm pretty sure it was her)! Also on that same trip - finding out EXACTLY what Brigham Young was talking about when he said "This is the place." OK no more inside jokes, sorry. Having the experience of meeting friendofdd (and Mrs. fodd) as my very first face to face LPer. I will never forget that as long as I live and wish I could see him everyday. Every time we go back to DL and meet up with him somewhere along the way its like you just saw him last week even though it was at least a year ago. I love that! Of course this was the same meet where I first met Kar2oonMan & threeundertwo and spent most of the day trying to behave but just not having it work out that way. Especially after the educational film about how they make the taffy with the little Christmas tree in the middle & 2oony trying to get us to eat the Harry Potter jelly beans. OYE! Following SuzieQ in her big green SUV to the outlet mall so we could go to the Disney outlet. IMing with CinderellaShanny until the weeeee hours of the morning (I miss her now that she's so busy these days)! Having a huge personal life crisis and calling Ursula - I'm still not sure how I got her phone number in the first place or what possesed me to call her and not someone else - but we talked for a long time and she made me feel so much better. I had never really considered her a "friend" before that because we never talked that much - but after that day I definitly consider her a friend and still don't know how that phone call came about but I'm pretty sure she saved my life that evening. Riding HM over and over and over with TDG. Pixie Glitter (in her nicer days) taking in a poor pitiful LPer and her friend and letting us share her hotel room for my very first LP meet. We had never met in person and she let us share her room without the slightest concern that we might be those axe murderers everyone keeps talking about. That is one of the sweetest (and craziest) things anyone could do and it really sealed my opinion of what a great place LP is. I know I have more but I'm starting to get Big Thunderitis.

I KNOW there were others with us that night, but the four of us had been together for most of the day. We were in the back, perhaps Storybook? The park closed. We decided to slowly exit out through the castle. It was the slowest walk I've ever done. I wish I could explain the magic, but I can't. It was just so nice and special, and we touched the castle and wished it well. I had no idea that come July 17, 2005, that having threeundertwo by my side as we walked in the park that day would be so special and so wonderful.

Also that same meet I got to hang out with the Toons. Having Forrest Gump acted out for me is a memory I will never forget. Hanging out with MNG, M2, and Inspector 57 at the 2003 (or was it the 2004 meet?) meet was great. Watching Avromark irritate people gives me a kick. He is a great guy that has a bad reputation. Give him a break, he's Canadian! Being a part of the Churro Angels, and holding a position in the Churro Empire. Taking the "this topic has 6 words" to 10,000. I could go on for days but I am getting misty-eyed thinking of all the good times.

We laughed about it later too about how most of us had just met each other that day and we were already eating off each other's plates!!
