As far as I know your return trip from a WDW resort to MCO on ME must be at the latest on your check out day. You can return earlier (e.g. if some of your party depart at an earlier date than the rest), but not later. But I guess the best would be to call ME directly. Have you checked whether it might be worth it to rent the car from the Dolphin location and drop off at the airport? That would save time and you would save money for a transfer.
