As an adult it is much harder to get myself out of bed on vacation. :)

That's because that is not what your codename says... since I found it unpronounceable.

Since at TDR, many guests complaint about the 1-hr window being too little time to return (concidering how crowded that park can get), a decision was made to make the FP window there a 2-hour window. I would not mind if they decided to implement that change at WDW as well AS LONG AS they stick to their gun and refuse entry to those who missed their window. No buts, ifs or what have yous... without exception.

I know I've heard of it happening on here for TT or Soarin'. But seriously, how often are all of the FP for all of the attractions gone by say 5 PM?

So why does a person who can hit all the big rides early (like me) need FastPass at all?

I don't really. I can spend the rest of the day doing the more laid back rides when the E-tickets are jammed.

Yet I can still get E-ticket FP's,perhaps to give to my friends. At the cost of some other guest not getting an FP at all.

They unveiled the new Disney Romance stamps at the same time.

Al Weiss and Brad Rex were there. So was Mickey & Minnie, Belle & Beast, Cindy and Prince, Lady and the Tramp. (Who easily got more attention than ALL the others...)

FYI -- The confetti cannons shot off at kickoff time, of course. But they were full of flower petals! Not confetti!

No, I wasn't. Due to my jetlag, I went to bed at 5am and got up just before 1pm. About flower petals instead of confetti... they do the same every year. Reason why I don't make a point to go to the Festival's opening anymore. But got to get the AP exclusive Pin sometime.

so who said micro manage??? Schedulize???

You dont have to do either and Im not suggesting that.

But are you telling me as a Disney regular you dont go to the parks "Smart" in terms of knowing things like what park is busier when, The best time of the year to go etc. So how does FP Knowledge differ from any of this?

The fact of the matter is if you take the time to figure out what your doing your going to have an easier time of it and thats just life.

Look the way I see it Im with DVC Dad I LOVE FAST PASS. If you want to whine about it go ahead.

Im not a Rope Drop guy and Ive never had a problem using it.

And if there are rules they should be enforced.

Concidering how DUMB tourists are when at WDW, that's an interesting perspective.

Count me in -- I just read thru this whole thread after being away for 2 days -- wow, you'd think they tore down an E ticket and put up a playground or something for as upset as everyone is..

As I just posed on the part 2 thread -- if they want to limit the number you can get per day fine, I only use a few anyway - but they DO strategically help me plan my day...and I do not do the parks as a commando and have not in years...

I don't think that's the case. Mostly just good spirited discussion.

    Even if they are wrong.

    We're discussing it you crab.

Nobody is whining. If you don't want to discuss, go to another thread. Or better yet, create your own 'I HEART FASTPASS' thread.

In most cases I am early to use my fast pass so I really try not to abuse the system.

I can see how those who choose not to use fast pass can get upset, I have waited in the stand-by line and seen those run by me I get a little upset but I know I used it so it's only fair I have to wait while others use it.
