    Exactly. There was no backstory to Pirates (originally) -- and it wasn't so darn literal. You traveled back in time but it was done cinematically. I think sometimes this backstory stuff gets a little too "inside baseball" and geeky.

    That video appears to have been shot on a cloudy day. I doubt it will be that busy in the middle of the afternoon in July. Much like its predecessor, Golden State Park, Paradise Park doesn't have much shade.

    I believe this to be true.
    But if someone becomes a fan of the attraction, they will want to learn more about the attraction. ie, what's the story, how was it built, how did they do that? (spfx), etc.

    Of course. I wasn't complaining, only pointing out that on a blazing hot day people won't be milling about in that area.

    There are folks who are crazy about trains (ie WD). I'm pretty sure there are people out there crazy about early period buses too. Who? No idea.

    It's supposed to be a contraption built by Gadget (a chipmunk like character from Disney Afternoon television series). I believe that she was a handyman type character that could basically fix anything. Note that the coaster appears to be built out of discarded items like soda pop tops, a comb, a soup can etc.
