However, I feel I should mention my DD's poor inlaws. The mother is having her surgery today. (Take with a grain of salt as this family's updates are always sketchy.)
In addition, her son, my SIL's brother, went to the hospital yesterday with swollen feet and had congestive heart failure. Do not know anymore details on that. They have had a daughter survive luekemis and my SIL is a kidney transplant survivor. They seem to get it all. So ongoing prayers for them would still be appreciated.

My boss (mid 40's) has congestive heart failure and COPD and he's still showing up at work and stuff. It's such a scary name....how people can still work and function is beyond me.

Another police officer (early 40's) was also diagnosed with congestive heart failure about a month ago. He, too, is at work, too. I share that because I guess it's not an automatic hopeless thing, I guess.

Man. I guess we could all get in on this and share similar stories. Sorry to derail there...just want to give some modicum of hope here.

Good luck to you and to everyone that's following this thread......we're all woven together in this fragile tapestry called life. xoxo

Thanks STIL. I like it when others share similar stories. Especially when there is some ray of hope.
We looked it up on line to try to find out a little bit about it. This guy does not take care of himself at all so I figure that lessons his chances of a good outcome. We shall see.
