The Monorail is no longer listed, but the CM's are claiming the last day is Sunday and they are being transferred to other positions.

When we were there last month, the line was about a quarter of the way around the mountain and we were in bobsleds in 15 minutes.

Well, actually, I have been talked into it a few times in the last 5 years or so... for the kids' sake. What we won't do for our children, huh?

It moves and either side immerses you in such nice aspects of Disneyland atmosphere, especially when the monorail is running. Besides, the ride is one that is worth the wait.

Usually, this has happened every year just after Labor Day and lasts until the middle of November. Last year, because of the 50th, they did not do a refurb on the mountain. So they are staring back up with those lengthy refurbs this fall.

not to mention the abundance of chicken wire and plaster for the facade itself. Gotta love high tech material! :D

Are they still doing that strobe light flashing at the final Harold scene? I can't seem to remember if they did last year for the 50th...
