ECV should only be rented if you are actually disabled. renting an ECV just to get around and get in front of lines is wrong. ECV's also create problems and hazards when the parks are busy. There has been several people injured by people that get a lttle to crazy with these vehicles. Instead just have patience, plan appropriately or avoid the parks on those busy days and allow tourist to enjoy them without the extra annual pasholder crowds.

Sometimes the Duty Manager was from Disneyland Security/Health/Fire, but more often that person was from Guest Services (Main Entrance was part of Guest Services). So, I am not really sure if the Fire Marshall even could close down the Park due to capcacity unless it was exceeded in a specific building. What I do know is that the Anaheim Fire Marshall has nothing to do with a normal, expected gate closure.

Disneyland is very careful about in-Park numbers and definitely takes care to not exceed the maximum. When the Park upgraded the turnstiles to scan every ticket and added an easier way to accurately count Guests coming through the center gates (strollers, etc.) it helped narrow down an accurate in-Park count. Before that it was close but not as accurate as now.

They close the park down after it hits a certain capacity, and in extreme cases, they won't let APs in either. That was already covered, right? The capacity of the park doesn't change if more of the guests are APs, right?
Originally Posted By imadisneygal No, the capacity does not change based on the make-up of passport type of Guests in the Park. For example, the Saturdays that are currently blocked out would certainly be busier if all AP's were valid on those days. However, capacity would most likely not be reached. As for days when the Park gates will be closed anyway, it wouldn't make a difference in the capacity.
