It's near the top of the page, with a picture and links with fun titles like "Recession wear?", and "She's `beloved`". Classy, that Drudge. Just like Kozy in so many ways.

Seriously, of course it doesn't *really* matter, but think for a minute about why she was there. She didn't really go to the food bank to volunteer; she went to promote volunteering. The whole thing was a carefully staged photo-op. The shoes are a reminder that it *was* just a photo-op.

Gee, DAR, you don't suppose our "secondary gayness characteristics" got swapped out somewhere in the great unknown? I have zero interest in Project Runway. I got totally hooked on a Top Chef marathon one lazy Saturday, though. As Daffy Duck once said, "Da-rool, da-rool."

All Michele was doing was performing for a photo-op. She would have earned more mileage from this op if she and her handlers had put a bit of thought into what she was wearing. And oh my goodness NEWSFLASH for some of you-NO ONE really cares what is said on this discussion board-from dlkozy's comment on what Michele wears to the constant beating of the OBAMA drums, (meaning really some of you ought to find something better to do with your time than posting hundreds of I LOVE OBAMA crap)-it all means the same thing-NOTHING. This is all entertainment folks and to put down someone because they post something that is interesting to them-grow up.

And if her being there coaxes a few thousand couch potatoes into doing a little volunteering, isn't that a good thing? So anyway...

She seems fine to me.

And I'd be more aggravated if she showed up at a food bank and started eating caviar in front of the homeless or something. Not because she is wearing shoes from her own wardrobe.

The President (and his family) are supposed to "share our pain." It's a load of nonsense, but it's expected of them anyway. Honestly, it doesn't matter, but then neither did a lot of the silly stuff the Bushes was criticized for.
