You asked and so I will tell you X-since Sunday I have shopped and filled a grocery bag for our local food pantry that is in dire need.

I helped my son finish his Eagle project creating dozens and dozens of fluency phones for a middle school in need.

This is in addition to taking care of my Mom who is in hospice in our home.

THAT is what I HAVE DONE this week and I still have a couple of days to go before the week is through.

What did you do this week to volunteer X?

    Nothing.

But then again, I'm not attacking someone else FOR volunteering (no matter what they happened to be wearing).

***Just like you X-always personal attacks in your posts.***

    I'm entitled.

As DouglasDubH made abundantly clear, any attack on ANY conservative on the planet gives him license to "strike back" with personal attacks.

As you have attacked a prominent Democrat, I am now retaliating.

    You started it.

The week is not through yet and I would let you wear your tackiest thing in your wardrobe to do so! 2 days left in the week-volunteer!

That, of course, is a gross distortion of what was said.

<(helping your kid and your mom doesn't count as "community service" though, sorry)>

Helping with an Eagle Scout project definitely does.

Believe me, I give up more hours of my life than I can say so that my DM can be here-meaning I give up a lot of $$$ to do so.

My siblings have disappeared and have left everything to me. We do not take government help in her care but certainly are entitled to do so. But there are others more in need of government funds.

    THAT is volunteering.

I would question the priorities of any advisors that would waste their time finding out the retail price of everything in their bosses closet.

    But that's just me.

We base scholarships, probations etc on hours of community service, that doesn't mean its not serving the community.

You are wrong about this X. But, you do make me smile, because even if you are wrong you still try and make your case.
