During the 2000 election, I remember Bush pretty much looking like a deer in the headlights as Letterman essentially grilled him with very direct, issue-oriented questions. It was pretty obvious that he was expecting a fluff interview and he really didn't have good answers prepared. Obama is actually scheduled to appear on the show tonight. McCain has been a pretty frequent guest as well and I know that Biden has been on at least once recently (although before he got the VP nomination). -Jeff
