Yes, she has. Be careful what you wish for. Democrats often underestimate Republicans, to their regret.

Her one "answer" about freddie and fannie was nothing short of moronic, showing a clear lack of understanding about the situation our country is facing right now. I HOPE she is really better informed than that.

So actually, Douglas, I hope very much I'm underestimating her. If not, the world is in danger thanks to your guy and his irresponsible choice.

That's the second time I've heard that on this very thread. And yet ... no Sarah.

It's incredibly sexist that they feel the need to "protect" her in this way. If she is ready to be a heartbeat away from the presidency, then she must be ready to answer reporters' questions. If she is not ready, voters have a right to know that as well.

I'll be surprised if she doesn't.

And even if she comes out and says "Ooo Eee Ooo Ah Ah Ting Tang Walla Walla Bing Bang," 47% of the country (and a massive TV campaign) will still hail her as a brilliant and highly original elocutionist.

And yet.... silence. Lots of right wing defenders talking FOR her, but they have so little faith in their own candidate that they keep her locked away, as if cramming for the SATs.

The American people have a right to get to know as much about her as we possibly can in precious little time. Instead, we get the ol' shell game and a lot of blather about "America's Most Popular Governor." She has lots of executive experience, has her finger on the pulse of international relations, is a take-no-prisoners reformer that is going to fix what's wrong with Washington.

Maybe she's actually a ninja. Because she isn't often seen.

No, it wasn't, and the fact that you think it was shows you have a clear lack of understanding why we're in the situation we are right now.

My understanding is clear, and so is yours.

You're just fomenting more lies. It's what you do.

Honestly, since there is the possibility that she will be president someday, I hope she exceeds all expectations. McCain isn't who I want for president, but that said, if he does win, and anything happens to him in office, I hate to think we will have less than the best to step in and take over.

For the sake of our country, i hope the hype is real. And if now, we have a right to know that before election day.
