English Leather Lime came out in 1966. That's around the time my brother started wearing it, in college.

Did you start wearing English Leather when it first came out, in 1949? <<

I'm pretty old. I'm guessing I started wearing English Leather in about 1965. I just don't remember the English Leather Lime. That's OK though. I made out alright with the standard English Leather.

That sounds really good. Unfortunately my wife is one of six people in the universe who do not like the scent of vanilla.

Oh, and turns out I like some kind of Aramis - Matt has worn it a couple of times.

Oh, and, for those keeping track, yes I *will* be buying him some Liz Claborne Curve for Men soon. LOVE that stuff!

Do we have a lady's perfume topic? I normally buy fragrance free everything but lately am hooked on Baby Dreft laundry detergent smell...So when we tire of discussing men's fragrance ...What laundry detergent do we prefer?

Once walking thru the dept store the lady asked if I wanted a spray sample of Eternity and thought she said maternity...No thank you I said

speaking of vanilla fragrance I love the scene in Michael, with John Travolta, as the ladies are describing how the angel smells like vanilla cookies. And how that makes him so irresistible.

LOL! Me too. Except on very, VERY rare occasions where I'm dressed up for a special night out or something. Even then, half the time I forget to use it.

If I do, it's this old, old, old bottle of Fire and Ice for Men that I got as a Christmas gift and that has lasted for more years than I care to remember.

The spouse, on the other hand, uses it often. He used to like Polo, till I told him I didn't, particularly. Then he was totally into Red, which is discontinued (but you can still find in the "scent district" in Manhattan sometimes, so I'll get it for him) and then Aqua di Gio.

If you think THAT was a phallic looking bottle... who else here remembers the 70's "Man by Jovan" and "Woman by Jovan." I kinda couldn't believe they got away with it at the time... here they are:

I knew there was some reason I never liked it! I am so allergic to fresh cut grass.
