By using that logic, the line between opinion and fact becomes ever-so-finer, which defeats the purpose of having an opinion anyway. If you're discussing politics with a friend, and you are both well-versed in the issues of which you are discussing, yet are on the opposite end of the spectrum, would that make your friend's ideas (or rather, opinions) bad?

There can be two good opinions that differ. Their opinions so neither is right. Not all art critics agree, but being art critics they both have good opinions. A 5 year old might also have an opinion, I wouldn't say it is GOOD. Perhaps not BAD, but certainly not GOOD.
