HM was never meant to be that long, and the track length is testament to that. If it was that long you'd have time to see things you're not supposed to see. Seeing illusions and AAs for too long ruins their mystique.

I'm guessing that the soundtrack "loop" in each room will be longer than a normal dark ride, so you'll probably just hear more of the song than you would if the vehicles were moving faster. Hopefully the rooms will be full of lots of props/animatronics to look at though - otherwise the riders might start to get bored. Those rooms look awfully small in the videos.
