Tossing aside COMPLETED attraction designs so your pals can create newer, unnecessary versions of the same attraction and secure their permanent employment?

Isn't that from the first page of "The Disney Executive's Guide to Unilateral Imperialist Corporate Control" handbook?

The subs, lagoon, and show building are permanantly gone. I seriously doubt that Disney would ever bring them back. As for a Little Mermaid dark ride there, that is totally possible some day. I just hope SOME major attraction is built where the subs once were. That is a large prime location in the park to sit vacant for as long as it has. Of course, there's that 'wonderful' Pooh playground there now that's soooo much better than the 20,000 Leagues attraction that pre-dated it. (NOT!)

    You'd be assuming correctly.

There was no chance of one either, simply fanboys/girls putting two things together and taking a large leap.
