Dirt, black dust from tires, smog, you name it, sticks to both vertical and horizontal surfaces of the outside of my home. I have no doubt it can stick to a spire on Space Mountain. The dirty streaks that have been on the outside of Space Mt. for some time now are black just like the dirt that collects outside of my residence. Seems to me if they were stripping the outside of a Space Mountain that was covered with paint rather some kind of paneled surfacing, the streaks would be brown like the 1998 paint job that is underneath.
